WINTER YOGA with AMBER (RYT)
FLOW YOGA
Dates: Wednesday mornings, January 11 to March 8
Time: 9:00 to 10:30 am
Location: the Arts Centre
This is a moderate to challenging class that strengthens the body, breath, and mind. Internal focus will be heightened through a short breathing or meditation practice at the end of each class. Active beginners and experienced yogis welcomed.
Nine weeks: $110 for full session; $15 for drop-ins
RESTORATIVE YOGA
Dates: Wednesday mornings, January 11 to March 8
Time: 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Location: the Arts Centre
Restorative Yoga is slow and soothing, using deep natural breathing to open and nourish the physical and energetic bodies. All levels; ideal for those with injuries and chronic conditions.
Nine weeks: $110 for full session; $15 for drop-ins
HATHA / YIN YOGA
Dates: Wednesday afternoons, January 11 to March 8
Time: 1:00 to 2:30 pm
Location: the Arts Centre
The first half of the class will be devoted to energizing Hatha, a moderately paced practice that develops postural alignment and breath awareness in traditional yoga poses. The second half will focus on Yin practice, with long-held passive poses to increase physical flexibility and mental equanimity. All experience levels welcome.
Nine weeks: $110 for full session; $15 for drop-ins.
