WINTER YOGA SESSIONS

 

Its still mighty dark and chilly, so keep your juices flowing with some yoga for your unique self. Different levels for different people and different situations. Come and treat yourself well!

 

Flow Yoga

WHEN: Monday evenings, January 9th to March 12th

TIME: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

LOCATION: False Bay School

This is an active vinyasa style class that works on strengthening the body, breath and mind. Active beginners and experienced yogins welcomed. Eight weeks: $85 for a full session; $15 for drop-ins. NOTE: No class on January 16 or February 13.

 

Restorative Yoga

WHEN: Wednesday mornings, January 11th to March 7th

TIME: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

LOCATION: The Art's Centre

Restorative yoga is slow and soothing, using deep natural breathing to stretch and open the physical and energetic bodies. All levels; ideal for those with injuries and chronic conditions. Eight weeks: $90 for a full session; $15 for drop-ins.  NOTE: No class on January 18.

 

Hatha Yoga

WHEN: Sunday mornings, February 19th to March 25th

TIME: 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

LOCATION: TBA

Hatha is a moderately-paced class that develops postural alignment and breath awareness in traditional yoga postures. All experience levels welcome. Six weeks: $65 for a full session; $15 for drop-ins.

 

Please come to class promptly, on an empty stomach. Bring a mat and blanket, if possible. Half Moon sticky mats are for sale from $30.
