Energy Audit/government grants

Hey now all, quiz question: has anyone hired an energy auditor to qualify for government grants? Hoping we can get some $$ back.

David Croft, whose family has property here, has done energy audits of several households and has made possible some grants. I don't know if there are similar programs now.

Yes - we hired David Croft to do an audit and did a pile of retrofits, and got money back for a new solar hot water system, adding insulation, and replacing single-pane windows with thermal-pane.
I think we got back about $3K in total from federal and provincial sources, so it was well worth it. Like Peter, I don't know what programs are currently available, but David would - dwcroft [at] gmail [dot] com
