Makeke invites you to dance in the evening light on the False Bay dock Wednesday July 22nd at 7pm. Come by boat, come by bike, come by pick-up truck....just come by! (In case of rain, we'll be playing at the community hall like usual but you're still invited to come dance with us.)

Canadian Film Soundtrack
Hello Makeke Marimba band members,
I came across your music here. http://marimbamusic.org/ I happened to be talent searching, specific music to be used in a
soundtrack, proposal for a feature film production. I am the screewriter/director, if the film goes to production, much of the story
will be shot in Canadian provinces. The film is called "Red Eyed Vireos" and tributes the songwriting of renowned Canadian
Gordon Lightfoot. I would like to discuss the script, and Lightfoot selections with members of Makeke Marimba band.
