Covid vaccine clinic Friday August 12th

This is a reminder that public health will be providing another Covid vaccine clinic on Lasqueti on Friday August the 12th. Vaccine is now available for the pediatric population from ages 6 months of age and older as well as the general population (12 years and older). Vaccine will be available for those wishing first, second or booster shots. Second booster shots are available to those individuals who had their last booster shot at least 6 months ago (the last vaccine clinic on Lasqueti was Feb 5th). You can make an appointment for the August 12th clinic by calling 1-833-838-2323.

Nurse

Dianne McClure  offers her time to Lasqueti Island residents once a week, usually Thursdays from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Her schedule is posted in Our Isle & Times, on the Post Office door, and on the ferry bulletin board. Drop-ins are welcome during those hours. Her clinic is located at the Judith Fisher Centre.  Home visits or phone consultations can be made by arrangement.
