Whole Community Immunization Clinic February 5th

On Saturday February 5th public health nurses will be coming to Lasqueti Island to provide Covid-19 vaccination for the following.

Location: Judith Fisher Center.
 

i) first doses for children 5 to 11 years of age

ii) first and second doses for teens and adults aged 12 years and over

iii) booster doses for adults aged 18 + who are at least 6 months past their second dose.

Advance bookings help public health prepare supplies before traveling to remote areas, therefore appointments are required. You can book an appointment by calling 1-833-838-2323 (have your health care # handy). You can also make an appointment by going on-line at www.GetVaccinated.gov.bc.ca.

Nurse

Dianne McClure  offers her time to Lasqueti Island residents once a week, usually Thursdays from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Her schedule is posted in Our Isle & Times, on the Post Office door, and on the ferry bulletin board. Drop-ins are welcome during those hours. Her clinic is located at the Judith Fisher Centre.  Home visits or phone consultations can be made by arrangement.
