Ivermectin - a brief history

In  the early1970's Satoshi Omura was a microbiologist cataloging soil samples looking at various  soil microorganisms. On a golf course south of Tokyo he                    discovered streptomyces. Dr.  Omura had unique skills of culturing and fermenting microorganisms, and he soon realized he had something special. The institute he worked with had a partnership with Merck, and a sample was sent to them where it landed in the lab of William Cambell. By 1973 Cambell had isolated Ivermectin,  and by 1978 it became a licenced drug.

Today Ivermectin has been used over four billion times. For a drug it has an unparalleled safety record. It is estimated to have negative side effects eleven times per million usegages. Ivermectin is known to be antiparasitic, antibacterial, antiviral, anti inflammatory and anticancer ios.  It processes this remarkable wide array of properties because of its natural origins.

Starting around 2010 labs around the world, in response to the previous decades  viral scares, began to intensify their experimentation with Ivermectin. They found it could control zika virus, dengue fever, malaria, tuberculosis, HIV, leukemia, and more.

It was because of these wide ranges of uses that when covid reared its ugly head, many scientists and doctors began experimenting with Ivermectin. It soon became apparent that they had a winner.

This story has many heros. Three of the greatest are the doctors Peter MuChollich,  Pierre Kory and Paul Marik. They were giants in their respective fields before the pandemic hit. Between them, they have over 1500 published papers.

They have all been on the frontlines of trying to change the way the war on this virus is being fought. Unfortunately, despite the solid science they have presented to the world, it is still not listening to them.

Fortunately, we have had multiple in vivo experiments  taking place on planet earth. In India, last May, the state of Uttar Pradesh was poised, if one was to believe the mainstream media, to become the hotbed of new covid variants. With over 200 million people, this is the most crowded place on the planet, and cases were rising. It was all over the news. Suddenly, for no apparent cause, India, and its approaching  state of doom vanished from view.  The world had moved on.

Uttar Pradesh, on the other hand, sprang into action. Taking their clue from Goa, they instituted a massif distribution program of a home based care package. The program came with an intensif contact tracing apparatus. Included with the package were a thermometer and an oximeter. They were reporting their vital statistics on their regular contact sessions. In this way, people not responding to the medication were given next level care. By the beginning of September, the emergency had passed. The ingredients? Ivermectin, doxycycline, and vitamines B, C and D. The doxycycline has since been proven to have no antiviral activity. But where was the media to proclaim this victory, to tell the world a possible solution to this nightmare we have been living through had been found?

Mexico did several experiments. One in Mexico city involved 150,000 people, half took Ivermectin,  both prophylactically and after contacting covid. the results were highly significantly favoring the Ivermectin group. In the other, the state of Chiapas undertook a statewide ivermectin program. Several months later, in a map showing case levels in Mexico, only Chiapas was covid free.

Peru carried out an experiment of their own. Lima became the control, the rest of the country took Ivermectin. Graphs show a startling distinction between the two groups.

I challenge everyone reading  this to watch the testimony of Dr Pierre Kory to the US Senate. The emotion in his voice is heartbreaking, because he knows that millions of lives could have been saved if the world had listened, way back then in May of 2020 , when the FLCCC first announced the protocol that could have changed the course of history.

As an American statesman, whose name escapes, me once said "The greatest power of the media is not with what they tell you, but with what they do not".

May the truth set you free

Here’s What You Need to Know about Ivermectin

The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19 in humans or animals. Ivermectin is approved for human use to treat infections caused by some parasitic worms and head lice and skin conditions like rosacea.

Currently available data do not show ivermectin is effective against COVID-19. Clinical trials assessing ivermectin tablets for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in people are ongoing.

Taking large doses of ivermectin is dangerous.

If your health care provider writes you an ivermectin prescription, fill it through a legitimate source such as a pharmacy, and take it exactly as prescribed.

Never use medications intended for animals on yourself or other people. Animal ivermectin products are very different from those approved for humans. Use of animal ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans is dangerous.

at https://www.covid19treatmentguidelines.nih.gov/tables/ivermectin-data/ The US National Institutes of Health has a summary of trials using Ivermectin to treat covid in Argentina, Columbia, Bangladesh, India, India, Brazil, & Iran. There is a key to abbreviations at the end of the tables, before the References.
