Second Covid Vaccine Clinic on Lasqueti Island

It appears that a number of people are getting email or text messages from Island Health regarding getting their second Covid shot. Second Covid shots are currently available in various communities including Parksville and Qualicum Beach. However, the second Whole Community Lasqueti Island Clinic does not have a firm date yet. (There is a plan for the 25th and 26th of June). You will not be able to book for this over the phone or online until it has been confirmed. People wishing to have their first vaccine as well as youth ages 12 to 17 years will also be able to be immunized during the Lasqueti Whole Community Clinic (as per Friday May 28th post by Reverend). I will post the date of the Lasqueti Clinic as soon as it is confirmed.

Nurse

Dianne McClure  offers her time to Lasqueti Island residents once a week, usually Thursdays from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Her schedule is posted in Our Isle & Times, on the Post Office door, and on the ferry bulletin board. Drop-ins are welcome during those hours. Her clinic is located at the Judith Fisher Centre.  Home visits or phone consultations can be made by arrangement.
