Registering in BC's Get Vaccinated System

I have just received information from Island Health that  "Anyone who got their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on or before April 6 should register in the provincial system as soon as possible. This applies to everyone who was immunized at a Lasqueti Island Clinic date prior to April 6, at a community pharmacy or at a large immunization clinic in another community". 

You can either register on line at : GetVaccinated.gov.bc.ca  or 

Call : 1-833-838-2323 (toll free)

You can register yourself, a family member or friend.

If you are unsure if you are registered in the provincial system please call the same # (1-833-8383-2323) for support.

The registration ensures that your contact information is available so you can be reached by email, text or phone call when it is time to make your appointment. The date for the next Lasqueti island whole community clinic has not yet been determined but will be advertised as soon as it is known.

Dianne McClure  offers her time to Lasqueti Island residents once a week, usually Thursdays from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Her schedule is posted in Our Isle & Times, on the Post Office door, and on the ferry bulletin board. Drop-ins are welcome during those hours. Her clinic is located at the Judith Fisher Centre.  Home visits or phone consultations can be made by arrangement.
