Arts Centre Grand Re-opening

One more pitch:    It's your chance to support the Arts Council!  Here are three ways how:  1-Donate your own artwork/crafts to be sold for a $50 donation to the Arts Council. 2- Donate artwork/crafts you own by someone else and are ready to pass along for a good cause. 3- Show up and have a good time at the opening on Saturday night, spend a little money and and come home with some fabulous artwork at bargain prices.   Many thanks to all the workers who showed up and helped settle and revitalize our wonderful arts centre.    The party starts at 7pm Saturday with Art Sales at 8 (no presales), followed by music and merriment. Bring potluck fingerfoods and beverages.    See you there!   (PS All art donations need to be at the Art Centre at or before 1pm on Friday.)

Arts Centre

The Arts Centre is run by the Community Arts Council whose purpose is to support and encourage all forms of creative expression in the community. There are two spaces, gallery and studio. The gallery is a venue for all forms of art : literary, musical, performance, film screenings, as well as exhibitions of visual art. in addition , the space is available for rent by community members for classes, workshops, meetings, or events.The studio is a working space for visual artists , and is available for solo or group projects and workshops.
