Lasqueti Day Parade & Silly Boat Race!
Saturday, August 31st! Get your floats and boats together...Parade muster at T-pot Corner for noon. Silly Boats gather at the boat ramp at 1:30, race starts at 2 PM sharp! 
Everyone welcome! Come and let your freak flag fly! 
WHO WILL TAKE HOME THE COVETED 1ST PRIZE?
Silly Boat Guidelines:
-human powered, no motors
-no risk of bits coming off and floating away as garbage
-no "real" boats, eg., kayaks, canoes, skiffs, etc.
-manufactured paddles/oars ok
-racers are responsible for ensuring Silly Boats are hauled away on the day of the race
