New Emergency Numbers: Service has Resumed

New Lasqueti Emergency Contact Numbers are Operational and Service has Resumed

 

Lasqueti, B.C. — Launched on June 8, 2021, the new emergency phone numbers were experiencing technical difficulties last week. The qathet Regional District has confirmed that full service has now been restored and both emergency phone numbers are now operational.

 

For all emergencies on Lasqueti Island the numbers to call are as follows:

 

  • 1-855-871-1175, or
     
  • 250-954-4432.

Regional District

Lasqueti Island is part of the qathet Regional District. A regional district is set up to provide different services in different areas according to the needs and desires of each area’s residents and property owners. Only those who receive the service pay for it.

Lost backpack

Hi :)
I took the ferry back to French creek yesterday 4pm Sunday august 29th. I believe my regular sized black backpack was left behind or possibly taken accidentally by someone else. My friend is checking at the ferry today but if anyone has seen it or took it by accident please contact me 250-516-4585. I just contains clothes, toiletries but also has sentimental sketch books/art project. Thank you!
