Last Resort Society AGM

The Last Resort Society AGM is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th, at 1:00 PM at the JFC.  We will plan to meet outside to support COVID recommendations, so please dress accordingly.  If the weather looks terrible, we will post updates on the Lasqueti email list regarding any possible changes.

At the AGM, we will elect new officers and directors for the coming year.  The Board of Directors shapes the path of the LLRS, so if there is anyone you would like to see sitting on that board, talk to them and email healthcentre [at] lasqueti [dot] ca if they are willing to be nominated.

Also at the AGM, the LLRS Building Committee will update the community on the progress of the duplex building project, including budget, design details, and future plans.  There will be a detailed financial report by our treasurer, as well as additional reports about the status of the existing buildings and infrastructure, recent services provided and usage of the JFC, and relationships with qathet Regional District.  

Calling all members of the Last Resort Society, both historical and brand new: please show up and add your voice to the discussion.  The AGM sets the course for the following year and provides many opportunities to get involved.  Bring $5 for your annual membership dues to become a voting member.
