Municipal Insurance Association Risk Control Survey

The Board of the Powell River Regional District passed the following motion at their January 26th meeting.

R. Brewer / C. Palmer THAT the Board concur with the recommendation of the Committee of the Whole to direct staff to communicate the recommendations within the Risk Control Survey, attached as Schedule ‘A’, performed for Powell River Regional District (PRRD) facilities on Lasqueti Island to the active parties and greater community; and

THAT the Board direct staff to prioritize and action the recommendations within the Risk Control Survey performed for PRRD facilities on Lasqueti Island.

Staff have already communicated the recommendations to both the Fire Department and Solid Waste employees. By posting here on the Lasqueti.ca website, the greater community is now advised and can become part of the solution.
