Aging at Home Community Workshop

We invite your participation in making Lasqueti Island a better place to age at home!

Workshop will have cafe style conversations to discuss issues surrounding aging at home such as housing, accessibility, transportation, community support, social participation, communication & information.

Hearty snacks will be available.

This workshop is supported by the Local Trust Committee and facilitated by James van Hemert, an age-friendly planning consultant.

The Islands Trust is a federation of independent local governments, which plans land use and regulates development in the trust area.  The Lasqueti Local Trust Committee is responsible for Lasqueti and the surrounding small islands.
