Songs of Peace and Hope

Event Date:
Sunday, November 15, 2015

Tonight (Nov.15th) is a chance to sing some of the peace songs of the 1960s. Events in our world, and the terrorism yesterday in France remind us that 'peace' is not an easy word, but one that involves struggle and commitment.  'Be the change you want to see'.

at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 7pm  (Nov.15)

Come and bring a light!

Qualicum Squall????

Just checked the marine weather. There is a gale warning, and it looks like Monday may still be bad. Since I am off island, I may have to cancel coming over today for a service this evening. I will check later to see if there are updates. I if don't come, get out your old tapes and music and 'give peace a chance.'.... George

Sing a Song for Peace

Each of us can sing a song for peace (today, and each day), and work and live for peace.
However, there is no peace on the waters today, and tomorrow doesn't look good either, so THERE WILL BE NO SERVICE at the Church of the Good Shepherd this evening.
(Next month,on December 20th, there will be an evening of Christmas Carols and Readings.)
