For those of you who had money riding on whether the phone would get returned, and for those others who are constantly curious of human nature, I have the following news:  The iphone, siri and all are back with its delighted owners...this through the expert efforts of Willy C, Larry M, and Peter J.  Batteries were charged, calls were made from the contact list, bicycles were ridden, followed by glowing smiles and  handshakes.  Good 1, evil 0.
