YOGA WORKSHOP and CLASS
Event Date:
Monday, August 24, 2015 - 9:30am - 4:30pm
Come experience yoga on the island! Yoga is a wonderful way to release mental and physical tension, rejuvenate and heal the body, and build positive patterns for the future. Amber Pikula RYT, BFA offers a full-day workshop this August, focusing on standing postures.
The day will start with a Flow asana class to build strength and loosen the joints and muscles. After a lunch break, we will spend the afternoon looking at various standing poses: their alignment, helpful cues, and modifications for many conditions. Every student will have the opportunity to ask questions specific to their own practice. Learn to stand steady and calm in Mountain Pose, to shoot for the moon in Warrior Pose, and to balance the angles in Pyramid Pose. Balancing postures will also be discussed. Cost: $20 for the morning class; $70 for the full-day workshop.
DATE: Monday, August 24th
