House numbering and ICIS

It was with certain disgust that I read about the proposed application by the PRRD for the Civic Spatial Grant Application. This is basically a proposal to sell (oops, I mean exchange) our information to Integrated Cadastral Information Society for a $1500 dollar grant. I don't see any benefit for us, especially as $1500 is a drop in the bucket when looking at the 911 bill.

I will be writing each Board member a letter specifically about this Grant Application, and asking that they choose alternative #2, and I urge everyone who feels the same to do so, too.

Here is the grant application info: https://powellriverregionaldistrict.civicweb.net/document/16942/civicspa...

Data Sharing Agreement

If the PRRD has already entered into a data sharing agreement with ICIS, the data may be shared regardless of if a grand is provided or not. It would be interesting to see a copy of this agreement and to see what it says will be done with the data.
