Meeting on Parking in False Bay area

Reminder about the meeting on Parking in the False Bay area on Friday, 11am at the Arts Centre.

If you can't be there and would like your views represented, write to me or talk to me (and/or Susan) and I will make sure that your view is expressed at the meeting.

Highways, RCMP and Powell River Regional District, along with Islands Trust will be represented at the meeting.

There will be a break for lunch shortly after noon. Bring your own lunch!

 

There is a regular business meeting of the Lasqueti Trust Committee the next Thursday, February 28, same time & place. False Bay parking and lots of other issues will be discussed there. Agenda packages will be posted as soon as they are available.

Islands Trust

The Islands Trust is a federation of independent local governments, which plans land use and regulates development in the trust area.  The Lasqueti Local Trust Committee is responsible for Lasqueti and the surrounding small islands.
