Fall Fair 2012 Schedule
I know it's last minute but....the schedule of events for the Fall Fair will be posted at the hall.
For the scavenger hunt, meet at Mary Jane's at 11am to get the low down from Ivy and Mikyla.
Gates to the Fall Fair at the Community Hall open at 2pm.
Many displays will be ongoing from 2 to 5:30, as will local music "on the porch".
Kids games including sack races, three legged races etc starting at 2:30ish.
Horse and carriage will arrive between and 3 and 3:30 (horse permitting).
Women's nail driving at 3:30
Food competition will start at 4:00.
Men's Woodsplitting at 4:30
North Vs South Island Tug of War 5:00
Delicious dinner (spit-roasted pig and local sheep and potatoes and salad and wood fired buns and apple crisp - oh my!) at 5:30
Then let's get down and square dance to the tunes of the Stowaway's at 7:30 (or when dinner has been finished!).
Don't forget to bring seeds for the seed exchange.
All these times have an -ish on the end because we are on island time.
Cost for the day, dinner and dance is $20/adult (without dinner: $8). Children and family rates available. Scale can slide... everyone is welcome.
Come support the Lasqueti Community Association while you celebrate the local abundance and share local knowledge.
