Fall Fair tomorrow (Sat) 2pm onward

Last minute notice for the Fall Fair! All set up for TODAY (Saturday). Starts at 2pm at the Community Hall.

Come out and enjoy local food and skills. Support local producers and craftspeople. Enter your bread, jam, salsa, pie or wine for the competitions. Learn something new. It's also a fundraiser for the Lasqueti Community Association.

Entrance fees: all day (fair, dinner, dance): $20

                          fair only: $5 (or volunteer time)

                          fair + dance: $8

                          dinner only: $12

Family and children discounts.

Attention musicians over 50:

Looking for two or three other competent musicians, male or female, intimately familiar with 60's music of all kinds, who can (a) play an instrument and (b) carry a tune, and who are interested in forming a working band to perform regularly at hotel/pubs on Lasqueti and other Gulf Islands
