Dear Community

There will be a celebration in honor of our dear sweet Eli Haukedal's life this Saturday, March 27th at 9:30 a.m. at Sand's Funeral Chapel, #1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo. The Chapel's phone number is 250 753-2032.

We will gather at 9:30 sharp at the Chapel and from there we will proceed to the witness garden by car.  In the witness garden there will be time for those who wish to share and speak about Eli.  Following this ceremony there will be an informal gathering with food and drink.  Location  is yet to be announced.

Anyone who has photos of Eli , please bring them to the ceremony or send digital photos to dlieutaghi [at] gmail [dot] com .

Eli died, I think peacefully, and completely unexpectedly, a few days ago. He was born on Lasqueti, near Lennie Road, in the late fall of 1975, and grew up here. His father, Lori Haukedal, died here many years ago. His mother, Cinthia Williams, lived here for years and now lives in Vancouver.
