As well as the election, we get to vote on the election/voting system we'll use in the future again, because just under 60% of British Columbian voters supported it last time. Check out the issues. I plan to strongly support changing to the Single Transferrable Vote, because it's a better system and allows more choice and better reflects voter's preferences.

Please keep in mind, we are NOT voting whether STV is the best possible electoral system, that we can have a long and protracted debate about AFTER the election. All we get to vote on May 12 is wether STV is better than First-Past-the-Post, of this, I have zero doubt. It is superior in so many ways, i hope it should be obvious to anyone who takes a little time to inform themselves.
