A reminder that Janet Marie Rogers will be at the Arts Centre Thursday at 7:30. You can check her out at www.janetmarierogers.com

Is there someone in the False Bay area who could provide Janet Marie with a bed for Thursday night? She is coming to Lasqueti on the 5:30 ferry and needs to leave on Friday morning. If she had a place to stay in the False Bay area, and her host could provide her with breakfast, it would be more convenient for her than coming way down to our place after the reading (in the dark) and all the way back next morning. Sue and I will bring a picnic supper for before the reading, and can provide breakfast supplies.

Arts Centre

The Arts Centre is run by the Community Arts Council whose purpose is to support and encourage all forms of creative expression in the community. There are two spaces, gallery and studio. The gallery is a venue for all forms of art : literary, musical, performance, film screenings, as well as exhibitions of visual art. in addition , the space is available for rent by community members for classes, workshops, meetings, or events.The studio is a working space for visual artists , and is available for solo or group projects and workshops.
