Dear Community,
As we progress through the next stages of recovery with Graham Allan please remember that he is doing the best he can to straighten out his life and get himself organized. 

Multi Household sale at Spring Bay

Reminder of the multi household sale this Saturday, May 11Th. at Spring Bay on Nichols Road.

Sale starts at 10:00AM and goes to 1:00PM 

3 short hours to get all your shopping done.

I have been asked if others can bring things to sell, Heck yes!  It is a public roadway so anyone can partake.  All we ask is if you bring it you take it home if you are not able to rehouse it.

I have also been asked if there would be food vendors.  We have not planned any but again if someone wants to, have at it, but please take responsibility for any garbage you create.

Island Health will be returning to the Judith Fisher Centre on May 31, 2024 to offer COVID-19 Vaccines. 

 

LANDER available out of French Creek

Our lander deck is 24 feet long with an 8 foot entry and can carry 12,000 pounds. 

We are moored in French Creek. (charge out starts at French Creek and ends at French Creek)

Missing cat

Missing kitty!
My cat disappeared about a month ago I was hoping she would show back up but hasn’t yet. 
Please let me know if anyone has seen her around. Her name is Squeaks and she is a white long haired ragdoll with a darker face, tail and paws.

An editorial and two corrections

It was sweet to see a few folks publicly speak up to defend our friend and community member, a woman who has contributed to our island in many, many ways.  The "Letter to the Editor" on Page 4 speaks to this.
