Hydaspe Fritillary (Speyeria hydaspe)
Medium-sized. Orange heavily patterned with black on the dorsal side of wings, black and cream spots on the underside. A mid-summer butterfly. Eggs are laid on violets, adults feed on thistles, mud, and a variety of flowers
