Giver Cancelled

Please let it be known up and down Lasqueti that the December 20th Community Hall Solstice celebration known as Giver is CANCELLED.  I went outside of my house today and decided, although this snow transformed island is intensely beautiful, our world  has become uncomfortable and potentially dangerous.  I ran into Jodi Ayers and she informed me the water at the Hall isn't running and the buckets she had filled for use were also frozen.  Water is essential to any feasting situation.  Also,  I would hate for anyone to hit the ditch or anything worse because of sketchy road conditions.   I don't want worry to be part of the celebration.  Another time, we will Giver together.

Dear Lasquetians,  I hope you all have sweet holidaze in your own neighbourhoods, being safe and warm, enjoying the company of those you love.  Light a candle to welcome back the light.  Eat well.  I am still going examine my worldly goods, seeking attachments that I can give away.  I hope you decide to play too.  Redistribute with love.
