New Tipping Fees Coming September 1, 2025

The qathet Regional District is implementing Bylaw No. 602, 2025 to modernize its solid waste regulations and update tipping fees across all regional waste management facilities. Replacing the 2018 version, the new bylaw introduces new site rules, enhanced safety standards, clearer definitions, and an expanded fee structure to support long term sustainability and promote waste diversion through expanded free recycling programs.
