City West info

It seems several people were taken in by Dave's front page recently. For clarity, here is some information from City West's VP - Projects Wes Eisses:

"CityWest does not operate 5G wireless infrastructure, nor do we have plans for such on Lasqueti."

"CityWest did submit a proposal to the Connecting Communities fund, but that proposal was for fibre to the home (FTTH). Should we be awarded funding, we would follow our high standard of engagement and permitting practices with the applicable authorities, including the Island Trust.

So for absolute clarity, CityWest does not (and will not) have plans for 5G or tower builds on Lasqueti Island."
