'Tis the season for celebrating, so let's celebrate:

Our Post Office on Lasqueti for being able to deliver mail!

Our Local Trust Committee for sending the fibre optic cable application to a Public Hearing,

Gord for guiding us on how to "make a living" growing food,

Willy for inspiring one our next reads,

Paul for helping us understand how the climate cult operates,

Michelle for connecting the dots in the geopolitical world,

Andrew for consulting us BEFORE he makes a decision on our tax load,

Anicca for explaining how to digest real food,

KohlrAbby for helping us keep our New Year's Resolutions,

and Bob Moran and the Babylon Bee for letting us laugh at the insanity surrounding us.

Sadly, not everything that is newsworthy can be celebrated.

The Last Resort Society seems to have some serious maintenance and financial problems, which are explained in detail throughout this month's issue, thanks to (and this we can celebrate) Karl's expertise and dedication.

Let's also take out the old year and bring in the new with humour!  You'll find jokes, cartoons, and colourful fun throughout...stoke the fire and enjoy!
