The Lasqueti Food Bank Needs Your Help

This holiday season the Lasqueti Food Bank is in great need of donations.
There are people in our community that need our help.

Some individuals have asked if all the food donated stays on the island. The Lasqueti Food Bank is for Lasquetians only. The food donated stays on island to help those in need in our community.

If you would like to donate non-perishable food items, you can drop them at the Post Office in care of Rainie or at the house across from the Free Store. You may also leave dontations at the Nursing Station while Dana is there, you can drop them in the Food Bank box on the Ferry, at Teds store, or you can call me [Rainie 8565] and I will arrange to pick them up.

Monetary donations can be left at the Post Office in care of Rainie or The Last Resort Society. Checks can be made out to the Last Resort Society and they will issue you a tax receipt if you need one.

I am also looking for a few people to sponsor a gift{s} for a few children. If you are interested in sponsering a gift please call Rainie @ 8565 or Joy @ 8599 For More Information.

• Rice or grains, canned fruit or vegtables, tinned meat or fish, canned or dryed milk or soy products, tea, peanutbutter, dried beans or fruit...

Lasqueti has a reputation as a communtiy that takes care of its own, so lets feed some people!
