Scottie Bay Update

As promised, I am providing this update based on communication from senior staff at Islands Trust. 

 It is explicitly stated in our bylaws that a new application can be submitted after one year. Since the decision to proceed no further was taken at the meeting of October 5, 2020, a new application may be submitted. 

If the Lasqueti Local Trust Committee agrees to consider the application, then the notice of claim will be considered to be in abeyance if the LTC takes no further action to pursue it. 

I hope this provides clarity to all interested.
