Gabriola Island Land Stewards Society Presentation and Q and A session.

On Thursday, August 24th, Sibyl and John will be coming for an information session on their community land trust, something I know some of us are interested in learning more about. GILSS is focused on affordable and supportive housing, local food production, and small scale economic development. We will hold the session outside at the Art Centre, from 11-3. The hat will be passed to cover their travel expenses, so please consider bringing a small donation. Hopefully this will start a broader discussion about how a community land trust might support some collective vision for the future. See you there! Tim 250-607-7094
