Spring Bay Races- Lasqueti Yacht Club

The weather is looking great - not too sunny and not raining! The winds are also looking favourable for the Lasqueti Yacht Club - Kayak and Paddle Board races Saturday,  July 9th.  This could be the perfect beach day.

So make sure you come out for the annual SPRING BAY RACE AND FUN DAY!

SATURDAY JULY 9Th. 
Registration starts at 12:30 
Kids Events start at 1:00
Adult events start around 3:30-4:00

This is a great event to participate in.  Also a great event to be a spectator and watch the kids having fun and maybe watching your family or friends go for an unexpected dunk in the adult events.  I like to call it fun and mayhem on the beach.

Hot Dogs and Polish Sausages will be sold starting at 1:00.  Bring your own liquid refreshments.

We will have a limited number of extra kayaks, paddle boards and PFD available for any one who wants to get involved.  However, if you have your own please bring them.
If you have extras that you will not be using it would be great if you could bring them to loan out as well.

Remember all participants must wear a PFD. Every year we have someone who says that they don’t need one, “well yes you do to be in our events”.

PS. While the winds are looking favourable a big NW wind could cancel and/or postpone the races.
