Trust Council Governance Review reports

The Islands Trust received a report from an independent contractor that reviews the governance and management of Trust Council.

It is a very interesting report, and anyone thinking of standing for election as a trustee should read it, as should anyone interested in the Trust on any level (though it is about the Trust Council, the body that sets overall Trust Area policies).

The Governance Review Final Report (71 pages) is at https://islandstrust.bc.ca/document/governance-review-final-report-february-2022/

(Warning:  when it opens the screen is grey. Page down to begin to read.)

The Powerpoint Presentation (15 slides) that accompanied the verbal presentation of the report is at   https://islandstrust.bc.ca/document/islands-trust-governance-report-powerpoint-presentation/

To view and hear the consultants' presentation to Trust Council on March 8, go to https://collaboratevideo.net/MaxPlayer/default.aspx?cid=isthost&pid=vod&vid=220308A&bw=720p&webcastID=IST-220308A

(The afternoon session begins at 1:34:25   For some reason the evening, delegations and public comments, comes before the afternoon session.)
