New loading and unloading rules aboard the ferry

 Hello everyone,

 Today August 26th 2021 Transport Canada came and did an inspection of the Centurion VII

Everything was in order and all was as its supposed to be. However during the inspection the inspector changed are boarding protocols.

Effective today we will no longer allow loading and unloading without crew present, this means that from 7pm to 7:30am the gate will be locked as well as between 12:00pm and 2:00pm 

Anything put on board during those locked times will be removed and not allowed to come across.

We realize that this is a change to are system and we will work on making it as easy a transition as possible

Lasqueti Ferry

The ferry runs from French Creek Harbour on Vancouver Island to False Bay on Lasqueti Island. Pay parking is available at the marina. The trip takes from 50 minutes to over an hour (in rough waters).   Passengers and freight only - no cars!
