Trust Council special meeting and Town Hall on Policy Statement

Trust Council is holding an electronic special meeting Thursday, July  8, preceded on Wednesday evening, July 7 by an electronic Town Hall session, to move forward with the Islands Trust Policy Statement revision. There have been extensive consultations, and the hope is to give the revised Policy Statement first reading, then refer it to First Nations and ministries, agencies and communities to suggest further amendments. Detailed information about the agendas for each meeting and how to participate are available at https://islandstrust.bc.ca/programs/islands-2050/   I’ll post this information to the Lasqueti web site and email list, with links so  you can click your way to them, if you are on the internet.

If you want to participate (in the Town Hall session) or listen (to Thursday’s Trust Council meeting) by phone you can call 833-958-1164 or 833-955-1088  Webinar ID: 670 2974 3021 Contact one of your local trustees or  Lori Foster lfoster [at] islandstrust [dot] bc [dot] calfoster [at] islandstrust [dot] bc [dot] ca)  via email if you have questions about this meeting or call 250-405-5161.
