PAC All Hallows Eve

Event Date:
Friday, October 31, 2008 - 5:30pm

It's October and that means it is time to think about Halloween.
This year All Hallows Eve falls on Friday October 31.  PAC invites all children of the island to join in the trick or treat parade from the Tea Pot house to False Bay beginning at 5:30.  (If you want to be a candy giver on the strip let JennyV know.)  As there is no school that day, there will be no snacks or games at the school previous to the trick-or-treating.  However, on arriving in  False Bay we will gather in front of Hotel Lasqueti for hot drinks, popcorn and hotdogs around the bonfire.  Keith and Elliot promise a big and spectacular fireworks display this year.

That's where it usually ends but this year PAC invites one and all to come togetherfor a community dance at the Hall after the fireworks.  Let's all dress up and be tricksy en mass.  The fabulous local music scenesters "Coco the Spy" will make music to move us, (these guys have got the groove down with lots of horns and bass beats and hot tunes).  DJ Beatfarmer will fill in the gaps and play the evening out.  Nadine Simpson will provide a concession (spanakopita anyone?) and bar drinks will be available.  Contest for the best costume in many categories.    Doors open after 8pm

Stay tuned for more information or call JennyV @8601.
