Fisheries management areas around LasquetiL 14--3, 16-1, 16-19, 16-20

Fisheries management subareas around Lasqueti are 14-3, 16-1, 16-19 and 16-20. Each is described below.

Subarea 14--3 is the Vancouver Island side of Lasqueti, from the outer NW point of False Bay and the southernmost Finnerty Island down to Point Young

Those waters of the Strait of Georgia inside a line that

then to49°29.798′N124°23.900′W[Finnerty Islands]

then to49°29.542′N124°22.559′W[Olsen Island]

then true north to49°29.716′N124°22.559′W[Lasqueti Island]

then following the southerly shoreline of Lasqueti Island to49°26.325′N124°10.402′W[Young Point]

then to49°21.023′N124°09.615′W[Ballenas Island Light]

then to49°21.097′N124°21.278′W[French Creek Breakwater Light]

then to the beginning point.

Area 16 is the Texada and Thormanby side of Lasqueti.

Subarea 16-1 is a small part of Lasqueti from Point Young towards Texada

then to49°28.048′N123°54.748′W[Merry Island Light]

then to49°26.325′N124°10.402′W[Young Point]

then to the beginning point.

Subarea 16-19 is most of the NE side of Lasqueti, including Jedediah and Jervis and the other islands, up to the northernmost point of Lasqueti

Subarea 16-20 is the "north" end of the island, including the Fegan/Flattop and Finnerty Islands
