Kayak Racing

It is that time of year again for the Lasqueti Yacht Club Kayak Races in Spring Bay

Thursday, July the 18Th.

Starting at 3:00 PM

This event is open to all.

Members $1 entry. Non Members pay double at $2

Spectators are free - after all it is a public beach.

Same format as last year

Race one is an Individual Race

Race two will be for Paddle Boards

Race three will be a two Person Relay Race

All participants must wear a PDF.

As always this can be a great spectator event as there is usually some mayhem on the beach. It is always fun to watch others get wet unintentionally !!

The Great Polish Sausages will again be sold

Participants and spectators should bring their own liquids to stay hydrated.

This was a really fun event last year and should be the same again this year.

Hopefully someone can knock the 2 year reigning champion (Sharon Chesham) off her pedestal.
