Roadwork Notice from MoTI

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI) is organizing with Mainroad Mid-Island Contracting to do significant roadwork and re-surfacing on Main, Weldon and False Bay Roads.

Please read the attached notice from the Ministry.

The notice states that vehicles must be removed by April 15 until the work is completed (Apr 29 - May 3).

To make this improvement to our roads, all vehicles must be removed from the sides of these roads. I don't yet know the full extent of the work on the mentioned roads beyond this notice. Some time after April 15, the Ministry will bring the RCMP over to have remaining vehicles removed.

Note that the parking lot near the Arts Centre must also be cleared during this time frame because the qRD will be coordinating with MoTI to have remaining vehicles removed.

Please be proactive to minimize the work by the RCMP.
