Before ou have your say on plastics

Before you look at or fill in the survey on plastics that Tim told us about, open until the end of August, you should read the four-page CCME (Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment) Draft Framework for Zero Plastic Waste. It's at

It has some reasonable ideas and suggestions for reusing, recycling or recovering plastics,, but like many proposals for change, it is long-term and involves lots of consultation with "stakeholders" before anything changes. Urgently reduce your use of all plastics, and make sure they are reused, recycled or recovered when you are done with them.
