Last Resort Society public meeting on tax levy

The second public information meeting is Saturday, 1:30pm at the community hall. It will help everyone understand the issues and clarify their views and make a decision on how to vote on the referendum question at the municipal election voting day, October 20..

If anyone has a question to ask, or a viewpoint they would like to express, but finds it too difficult to stand up and do it in front of everyone at the hall, I want to offer the option that you could send me what you'd like to say or ask, in writing, and I will present it to the meeting. If you would like to remain anonymous, I will keep you name confidential. 

If you'd like to use this method, please email me your "piece" or give it to me on paper.  I won't read anything that is simply rude or abusive, and reserve the right to select parts that I feel are respectful or useful.

I encourage everyone with a view or a question to attend the meeting and to speak out, but I know that some people find this extremely difficult, so am offering this service.
