Long Table Dinner @ Provisions

Hi everyone! It gives me great pleasure to announce the 2nd Long Table Dinner at Provisions, coming up this Friday September 1st. This time the theme will be Indian cuisine. There are vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options available.

Service will be from 5-8 pm and we are now taking reservations. To reserve between 5-7pm please call 250-333-8558 or come on down in person before Friday night to pick a time that works best for you.

The weather looks to be beautiful on Friday and if it is then all the seating will be outside but even in the event of rain we will simply serve inside and out on the porches underneath the canopies.

Starter

•  Lentil eggplant dip with fennel, coriander naan or pappadoms

Entrée Choices

• Lamb Korma
     Slow braised lamb shanks in a fragrant red curry sauce
• Butter Chicken Masala
      Tender chicken in a rich tomato curry sauce
• Kashmiri Tofu Curry (vegetarian, dairy & gluten free)
      Grilled tofu, squash, carrots, kale & chard in a coconut curry

All entrees served with cumin studded tumeric rice, mango lime pickle, apple chutney and cucumber mint raita

Choice of Dessert

• Chai Coconut Kulfi (ice cream)
• Mango Lime Sorbet (dairy & gluten free)
• Ginger Lemonade and Hot Chai Tea - $3.00

$23.00 per person - starter & entrée (chicken or veg)  (Add $5.00 for lamb)
$28.00 per person - starter, entrée (chicken or veg) & dessert  (Add $5.00 for lamb)

Just to clarify, both the Butter Chicken Masala and the Kashmiri Tofu Curry are the same price. The Lamb Korma comes with a $5 added charge.
