Fire Safety, Fire Hazard Rating returns to - Moderate - Aug. 6, 2016

The local Fire Hazard Rating is back to - MODERATE - Early Shift  - remains in effect.  For early shift to be lifted we will need to remain at Moderate for more than 3 full days, ie if we remain at moderate for a 4th day early shift will be lifted.  Evaluation of the daily data used to establish where we are re the fire hazard rating occurs in the early afternoon and is then posted so we will not know what the rating is on the 4th day until sometime in the afternoon of the 4th day (not in the morning of the 4th day).    Backyard burning restrictions remain in effect.
