Fire Safety, Fire Hazard Rating lowerd to Moderate Aug. 3,2016

The fire hazard has been lowered, early shift will remain in effect for at least 2 more days.  If the hazard rating returns to high before the aforementioned two days are up early shift will continue.  If we remain at moderate for longer than the next 2 days early shift will be lifted.  Backyard burning restrictions remain in effect.  I have been receiving some calls about campfires so here is a bit of a description, no campfires if the wind is up, fuel break required around the area of the campfire, maximum hight of flame 1 meter, maximum dia. of campfire 1 meter, a method to extinguish the fire (on site should the need arise), a none burnable containment of the campfire site (rocks, metal, etc.), any person who lights a campfire must remain at the campfire until the fire is out, ie. cold to the touch and of course remain sober.  Campfires are cooking fires, the purpose of witch is to provide a necessity of life.  Campfires are not party fires.
