Community Meeting on Solid Waste Management

The Lasqueti Island Solid Waste Management Committee needs your input! Our waste management facilities are struggling with serious issues, including chronic lack of space at the recycling centre and looming closure of the landfill. We will need to make big, and potentially costly, changes to the way we do things, but this is also a rare chance to improve on the current system. Please come to let us know what services are important to you, where they should be located, and how you would prefer to use them.
