Jean Mann Performance and Ukulele Workshop

Jean Mann will give an early-evening performance on Saturday, June 18th, at the Arts Centre, @ 7:00

Jean is from Seattle, and sings and plays original songs, on both ukulele and guitar. I met Jean last winter in Mexico, during our sunset ukulele jams down on the beach. I noticed that her playing ability was well above ours, and soon learned that being a performer and ukulele teacher was how she made her living.

I’ll describe her music as fresh, a bit quirky and “Indie “ with a bit of jazz styling thrown in.

On Sunday from 1:00 -3:00, she will give a beginners workshop on Ukulele.
I’m gathering up as many Ukes as I can, so there should be some ”loaners” available for anyone who hasn’t got one.
