First Responder Training

Hello Community,

I have just recently taken over as First Responder Coordinator for the Lasqueti Volunteer Fire Department. I’m looking forward to adding extra energy to our current membership and am also looking for new recruits.

Training consists of two sequential weekends. After completing the hands on training volunteers become part of a 4-5 person team. For one week per month your team will be on call to assist community members with medical emergencies.

The training dates for this year are November 6,7,8 and November 13,14,15. Fridays 7pm-10pm, Saturday 8am - 6pm and Sunday 8am - 3pm for both weekends. Food will be provided by island gourmets.
